EMMA? - World's first self-contained emergency capnometer for proof-of-intubation
and short term CO2 monitoring
PHASEIN's in-house tradition and expertise regarding gas analysis systems has led to the development of the world's first self-contained, real time respiratory gas analyser for proof-of-intubation and short term CO2 monitoring of adults, children and infants in emergency transport, emergency care and intensive care.
EMMA is designed using the latest advances in component and microprocessor technology to provide a self-contained, fully quantitative CO2 monitor with unique versatility and design. EMMA uses the IRMA mainstream technology in order to precisely determine end-tidal CO2 concentrations and respiratory rates even for very small children.
EMMA is battery operated and offers eight hours of continuous use powered by two standard AAA batteries for unparalleled mobility and convenience.
EMMA is a fully quantitative CO2 monitor. The accuracy of all measurement values fully complies with Respiratory Gas Monitor ISO 21647 standard and requirements. It provides long usage time and high precision, thus overcoming the shortfalls of presently used colorimetric indicators.
The EMMA analyser is available with a comprehensive alarm system with both visual and audible alarms for apnea, adapter clogging, high and low end-tidal CO2, etc. A highly visible bar graph provides immediate visual feedback for CO2 concentrations, breathing activity or alarm situations.
EMMA is built using IRMA mainstream technology and does not require any routine calibration thus reducing operating expenses.
EMMA has a rugged, shock-proof and water resistant design to provide the user with a reliable monitor for any emergency situation. EMMA is designed fully in accordance with Road Ambulance requirements.
EMMA has no warm up time - simply turn on the power, connect EMMA to an ET-tube, respiratory bag or breathing circuit and start measuring immediately.
